Please join us for a night of sharing food, stories, music, art, friendship and solidarity with the people of Lebanon. We’re raising funds for projects that support the people who needed to leave their homes and villages and are now in refugee shelters in Beirut: the Studio Beirut Soup Kitchen and the kids art workshops of the Beirut Arts Center.

Support our soupkitchen 

Since November 4 2024 the Studio Beirut soupkitchen is cooking meals for the people who are staying in refugee centres in Beirut because their houses and villages are devastated. For at least the coming 4 winter months we will cook for these people who can’t go home and are in need of many basic things, including a meal. We use the kitchen of Brazzaville to cook 3500 meals a month that are evenly distributed at several refugee centres by Nation Station.

Support kids art workshops

Studio Beirut supports the kids art workshops by Beirut Art Centre. With Artists in Shelters the Beirut Art Center will run 140 art therapy workshops nationwide.

In response to the currenthumanitarian crisis in Lebanon, where over 1.2 million people have been forced to leave their homes—including 95,000 children—Beirut Art Center launched Artists in Shelters, an initiative that aims to bring the healing power of art to displaced children. Artists in Shelters brought together a team of Artist Facilitators with diverse skills and backgrounds to provide young children displaced from their homes with workshops for creative expression.

About Studio Beirut

Studio Beirut functions as an urban laboratory where several initiatives are gathered. Our structure is open and flexible and adaptable over time and changes with the needs the citizens of Beirut encounter. We focus on the themes empowerment and rebuilding.

On a practical level we currently have a soup kitchen that provides meals for people in need. 

Studio Beirut is an all inclusive initiative that aims to help people in all possible ways.
